JC: LarryMoeandCurlin
9 Yrs Old
15.2hh
Kentucky Bred OTTB Gelding
His sire is the famous Curlin!
This sweet teddy bear of a boy is one of the most gentle souls we have been around
Leads and stands perfectly, lets us brush, groom, bath him, handle his feet and he just stands patiently
He even let us clean his sheath without any sedation and didn't even suggest raising a leg
She has a wonderful temperament on the ground and under saddle
Under saddle he will walk all day long with a beautiful steady paced "trail walk"
He has a more forward trot and canter and settles into a lovely consistent pace
He is naturally collected and carries himself very well
He doesn't need to be kicked, so we wouldn't class him as a kick ride, just a light squeeze and a voice command and he responds
He would be suitable for an advanced beginner on up who has leg control.
He is one of the more balanced horses that finds it easier to pick up the correct leads
He would make a fantastic trail horse, western dressage horse, western, or english pleasure horse, lesson horse, or hunter.
Zero spook and he retired sound from the track in 2017 and we have had no soundness or health related issues with him
He is not on any supplements or medication and does well on grass hay and 10lbs of grain per day
Lives out with geldings, mares, and ponies 24/7
Loaded in the trailer perfectly, without hesitation for us.
Uncomplicated, does well barefoot and is up to date on wormer, teeth floating, vaccinations, and farrier.
Adoption fee: $3,500
